As Communications Manager, Michelle directs the Shared Value Initiative’s communications strategy, online community, media partnerships, content campaigns, and social media presence. Michelle is a business idea enthusiast with over ten years of experience in communications, media relations, publishing, and marketing, having worked with companies in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. As FSG’s Communications and Public Relations Manager, she lead the global campaigns that launched shared value and collective impact, attracting the attention of The New York Times, Financial Times, Forbes, Guardian, Economist, Harvard Business Review and other media.
Prior to joining FSG, Michelle was Senior Publicist at Harvard Business Review Press. There, she promoted the thought leadership of business book authors from leading international companies, universities, consultancies, and organizations in the strategy and execution, technology, leadership, sustainability, and global business sectors. Michelle has a Masters in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College and a BA from DePauw University.
